I’m Joe Espinola, and I’m not a career politician.

As a retired police officer, small business owner, and former school committee member, I understand public safety, education, and the pressure that local budgets are under. Too often, decisions are made at the State House that lead to higher costs, unfunded mandates, and policies that don't reflect the needs of our cities and towns.

I offer a different approach.

I believe in responsible spending, local control, enforcing the law fairly, and protecting taxpayers, so families across the 1st Middlesex district can thrive without being left behind by one-size-fits-all policies.
