Joe's Focus
Why I’m Running as an Independent

I’m Independent because I don’t want marching orders from a political party. Too many decisions at Beacon Hill are made through party-line voting, without transparency and without explaining the real impact on local communities. Towns are left fighting over limited dollars, and families are left picking up the tab.
As an Independent, I’ll vote based on facts, impact, and common sense, not pressure from leadership or insiders.
No party loyalty.
No automatic yes votes.
Just accountability to voters.
KITCHEN TABLE ISSUES
The Things We Actually Talk About at Home
Like many families, I’ve sat at the kitchen table talking about bills, groceries, rent, taxes, and whether the numbers still work. These are the issues that matter most.
Transparency & Accountability
If you’re paying the bills, you deserve to know where the money goes. Government shouldn’t hide information or fight audits. Transparency builds trust — and voters clearly asked for it.
Local Control
Your town knows what it needs better than Beacon Hill does. One-size-fits-all mandates don’t work everywhere, and communities shouldn’t be punished for pushing back or asking questions
Taxes & Cost of Living
Everything costs more — food, gas, housing, utilities. State decisions shouldn’t force towns into tax overrides or make life harder for families already stretched thin.
Responsible Spending
Every taxpayer dollar matters. Spending should be transparent, justified, and focused on helping residents — not expanding bureaucracy or shifting costs downward.
